Young players need freedom of expression to develop as creative players . . . they should be encouraged to try skills without fear of failure.
— Arsène Wenger, Arsenal coach
The Recreation league offers an opportunity for young players to build friendships, develop community and build a passion for the game through friendly competition. The program is managed by our professional soccer staff with years of experience in youth development, however all teams are coached by parent volunteers. We offer guidance to volunteer coaches to support a positive learning environment.
New: Recreation League + Classes Combo
The DUSC Recreation League encourages players to explore and learn through playing the game. Our volunteer parent coaches do provide guidance - however we are intentional about letting the game be the coach.
DUSC Classes are run by professional coaches who teach the “DUSC Way + Curriculum”. Classes focus on fundamental skills and fun, while building a foundation of technical proficiency for future growth in the game. Topics include: dribbling, passing, receiving, shooting and creativity.
Our recreation league and classes are designed to compliment each other, combining team play and skill development. In order to maximize each player's soccer journey, we recommend players take a class and join our recreation league.
This new combo program is priced at just $450! Click here to view the schedule in relation to our Classes page.
