Downtown United Soccer Club ‘DUSC’ is pleased to announce a new sponsorship agreement with Nike. On June 1st, 2013 Nike will become the club’s exclusive merchandise supplier for the 2013-2014 through 2015-2016 seasons. DUSC will continue to work in collaboration with Eurosport (www.soccer.com) to execute the Nike agreement.
“With the recent announcement of our newly launched Girls program at DUSC, along with the continued growth and success of our boys program, Nike is a perfect fit for DUSC at this time”, commented Tom Frambach, General Manager. “Nike showed tremendous interest in working with us, offering a comprehensive package that clearly provides the best value for our players and families. In addition they will provide product support that can be used to assist our scholarship families".

The new Nike uniforms will be revealed towards the end of the month, with additional details regarding arrangements for purchasing uniforms and equipment circulated soon.
We are pleased to offer an exclusive DUSC combo pack for $75/person. The DUSC combo pack includes a ticket to the Manchester City vs. Chelsea match on Saturday, May 25th in addition to NY Yankees vs. Tampa Bay Rays game on Friday, June 21st. Although not the “best seat in the house”, the combo pack tickets are grouped in the same section for the DUSC community to enjoy great sporting events together. The ‘tailgating committee’ will have further details on pre-game festivities prior to Saturdays match.

To celebrate this and to welcome the team back to New York, a Flash Poznan has been arranged on the red steps of Times Square tomorrow Thursday May 16th at 7pm. We have been advised that we should start to arrive around 6pm to secure a spot and that we should represent in City blue! Bring friends, family and others to join the party!
The plan is that at 7pm exactly a horn will go or a whistle will be blown three times – at which point everyone on the steps will start to do the Poznan

City in the Community have recently entered a bid for the Sport Team of the Year Award at this years’ Beyond Sport Awards. We were shortlisted in the top four from over 400 nominations two years ago at the 2011 Awards in Cape Town. This year we would like to get as much positive feedback and comments uploaded to the site to support our entry, so with your help we want to get the most comments on our entry section!
So far the San Francisco 49ers are leading the way with the most comments so far, so they are the target to beat at the moment! No English Football Club has won this award to date and we feel we have a really strong bid this year with some great videos and photos but we really need the support of everyone who has been involved with CITC to go on their and leave a comment!
