Information: My philosophy as Soccer Coach focuses on educate all soccer players on three major domains which are: The Physical/psychomotor domain, which involves in teaching all the physical skills and techniques necessary to play Soccer such as dribbling, passing, shooting, heading, shielding, and physical fitness skills. The Cognitive domain, which involves in teaching the rules of the game, tactics and strategies. The Social/Affective domain, which involves in teaching soccer players the value of teamwork, sportsmanship, and ethics. I strongly believe that my function as a Soccer Coach is to be a role model and a leader for all my soccer players inside as well as outside the field, always looking to help them become better soccer players in all aspects with dedication and patience.
Coaching Qualifications: USSF certified Soccer Coach, National “D” license and “F/Youth Module” license.
Coaching Experience: Two years experience as an Assitant Soccer Coach at Long Island City High School (seasons 2009 and 2010). Two years coaching experience at Peruvian American Soccer Academy (2008-2010) . Two years coaching experience at Latin Stars Soccer Academy (2007-2008). Two years coaching experience at SuperSoccerStars (2005-2007).
Playing Experience: Three years playing experience at Flushing High School (seasons 1998-2000). One year playing experience at Queensborough Community College (season 2001). Two years playing experience at Queens College (NCAA div. II, seasons 2007-2008)
Education: Queens College Degree: Bachelors of Science (B.S) Physical Education. Queensborough Community College Degree: Associate in Arts (A.A) Liberal Arts and Science.
Interests and Hobbies: Practice and have competent knowledge of other sports such as Volleyball, Swimming, Tennis, Basketball, and Baseball.
Other Information: USSF and PSAL certified Soccer Referee. NAFP certified Fitness Professional. Certified on CPR/AED and First Aid.
