To support this idea, DUSC provides many different soccer programs for boys and girls which is supported by an organization consisting mainly of successful, professional volunteers and a team of highly trained and dedicated coaches and staff members.
The DUSC Board, comprising a team of successful and dedicated individuals who, in addition to their own personal endeavors and careers, volunteer their time to be members of the DUSC Board. All coaches, advisory boards and committees report to and are managed by the DUSC Board. The DUSC Board works closely with the Board of our sister club, Gotham Girls FC.
The Travel Team Program is led by the Travel Staff, a team of volunteer coordinators and professional coaches, managed by a professional Director of Coaching, Assistant Directors and Travel Director.
Our Academy, which provides professional training to young aspiring players, is managed by a professional Academy Director. These Academy programs include the Little Stars Academy and U6-U11 Programs.
The Recreational Soccer League is a volunteer based organization that executes seasonal soccer programs which are supported by a staff of professional coaches and an organization of volunteers and parent age group coordinators. All parents in the Recreational program are asked to contribute a small amount of their time to making the program work - though coaching, equipment management, event support, or fund raising.
Camps and clinic programs offered by DUSC provide fun filled structured training sessions that are planned and executed by a team of professional coaches.
The DUSC Board is assisted by various committees consisting of highly motivated and dedicated volunteers, helping to execute the other functions needed to ensure smooth running of the club including management of permits, indoor space, uniform purchasing, tournaments, scholarships and other significant roles including the very important task of obtaining sponsors and donations to support the DUSC organization.
DUSC has offered, since 1982, the opportunity to introduce and train young players in the game of soccer. All of which could not be done without the dedication of those within the DUSC organization.
