This post is really a second part of the previous one. A new day, a new game for us. What a relief to see our players play the way they do. As we were getting ready for our game, some players showed signs of pain. However, this did not worry me because those scars of a previous battle are the ones that makes us stronger. I think our players came to the field more determined to show a different image from yesterday and prove it to themselves that they could play much better.

Before the game, we had a long talk about things to fix this game. It's important to be mentally ready and always aware of our surroundings. Thinking ahead is also key to creating good chances and not losing possession.

From the very beginning, we controlled the ball against a very team that had to be aggressive to win balls. Although we suffered many times, we never lost our composure and created many plays from nicely constructed passes. We were able to rotate our players as we usually do and they all performed above average. This was also David's first game as captain and he didn't disappoint us, as he scored the only goal of the game.

It certainly feels nice to win a tough game playing well, stressing "playing well".

i think that game was a kind of a difficult game. i bet most of us stayed really late that night before like me. i think that game we struggle to give a strong good pass to each other which we struggle to do. eventually we made a goal because of me and it was my first time being captain which gave us a chance to win. most of the time in the game we would make little mistakes that we usually pay in cause of goals, but some how they had miss and even at a close range. i think that in the passage that aldofo wrote is that even though we a lot of pain and some scars that just made us stronger. i though we won because we stayed in our possessions and keeping a strong defense it kept us going. in other words that game was one of the stressful games we had ever had we pulled it through which means a lot and it means no matter what we well get through any course that comes to us.

We played a team that wasn't so bad. We had a lot of good chances but we were not able to finnish on almost anything. But soon we got good chance and we were able to score a goal. This team also had the same problem as us but they had even more trouble finishing, they got brake-aways and it was them against our goalie but somehow they were able to miss.

I thInk that this truly proved what we learned from losin the past two games. I think that losing sort of made us realize what it took to win. We did not give up on the ball, our passes and combinations were much better, and we were playing more as a team against a fast, aggressive team.

After a few bad games in a row, our team came out hungry for a win. We were up for the challenge of Buena Vista's tough, fast, and strong team and came out aggressive, unlike our state cup game the day before. For most of the game, we controlled the possession and flow and played our style of soccer. But this game did again show some of our weaknesses. At times, there was bad passing, a bad first touch, a lack of awareness of where you were on the field, and players not being fit. All of those things can be fixed with practicing on your own, which I especially need to do.

I think that this game was a great win for the team as we came back off a bad loss. I think that during the complete 70 minutes we were able to contain their aggressiveness, we would always body back. We probably could have done better with our offense, creating more opportunities with more runs. This game was a great example of how we should play physically. We should play that aggressively against all teams that we play, small or large. At the end, everyone started going up and no one came back. I think we got a little lucky not to give up a tie in the final minutes.

The game was a really great win, we played well, with possesion. We started off hard a we felt confident about the game. Our touch was great, it reached our players and we stopped some of there through balls by pressuring. If we keep this up and master our plays we will have a really good season.

another great game guys; we deserved the win. we played a really nice possession game in the beginning creating lots of scoring opportunities. unfortunately, we were only able to put one in. we started playing sloppy towards the end giving the other team scoring chances that could have cost us the game. if we are to be more focused in the future, we will be more successful.

I thought that we played strong. We were able to push back against this very big and physical team. We were able to stop them from having easy shots and that probably was a big part in determining the game. These guys were big! If we didn't play physical enough to fight back, they would have been all over us, but we held our ground and stopped them. This game is a good example in how being physical can help our game. I feel that we played harder in this game than in mosts. I think this is because we felt that this game was close and we had a chance. We need to stop thinking like this. I agree with Max about how we need to play every game like this. Against the cosmos, we actually had a chance. We just thought we didn't because we didn't try and they scored. At that game Gram had a great chance to score which would have made the game 1-1. That definitely have made us play harder than we actually did play. Noticing this, I now think that soccer skill is mostly about how hard you play, and not always about the moves.

This game was a good one to regain our confidence from consecutive losses/bad games. I think our touch was good and we did a good job keeping possession. We were aggressive and fought for every lose ball. this is how we have to play every game. The only problem in this game was that we did not make runs. If we improve this we will be a threat in this division.

Adolfo's speech before the game probably gave hope to the team and to me. Buena Vista had tall, fast, strong and tough players. They were good at shooting, but didn't scored any goal.
I will thank the defense for that, not for the goalie, me. I played bad and we were lucky they missed all their shots.
I was also happy to see the entire team playing, with Elias coming back. We worked together, made the runs and tried to create plays.
Overall, both defense and offense were good, and, thanks to the Captain, David, we won because of his goal.
